iFilm English TV to air ‘The Underwater Cypress’

iFilm English TV’s movie ‘The Underwater Cypress’ has been scheduled to be aired on May 20, 2023.

Produced by Seyyed-Hamed Hosseini and directed by Mohammad-Ali Bashe-Ahangar, the movie tells the story of a group of Iranian minorities who were among the country's unknown martyrs.

Jahanbakhsh Keramat is hiding a secret, which if revealed will be the cause of many sleepless nights for certain people.

In order to prove his innocence and restore the peace, Jahanbakhsh embarks on a long journey; one that will change their destinies.

Also written by Bashe-Ahangar, the film features actors such as Homayoun Ershadi, Babak Hamidiyan, Masoud Rayegan, Reza Behboudi, Mina Sadati, Houman Barqnavard, Setareh Eskandari, Farrokh Nemati, and Shahram Haqiqatdoust.

It has gone on screen in many countries, including Lebanon, Iran, Switzerland, Bulgaria, South Africa, and Turkey.

‘The Underwater Cypress’, made in 2017, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
